Warning! Counterfeit Reditainer products are often sold on Amazon.
If you receive one of these fake Reditainer products. Report it immediately to Amazon customer service. Ask for an immediate 100% refund. Most times Amazon will not require you to return the fake product and will issue an immediate refund.
If you received one of these fake items Amazon does allow simple returns up to 30 days and then after 30 days, but no longer than 90 days, from the date of purchase, buyers may submit what Amazon calls an A-to-z Guarantee claim.
We sell many of these containers on AMAZON exclusively through Amazon.com and a company called Clear Lake Enterprises. But are constantly challenged with unscrupulous sellers trying to make a quick buck selling ordinary cheaper brand deli containers and calling them Reditainer and/or Extreme Freeze Reditainers even though they are not. There are many brands of deli containers but only one Extreme Freeze Reditainer. Extreme Freeze Reditainers are made of a special engineered plastic capable of withstanding freezing temperatures to 40 DEGREES BELOW ZERO for extended periods without becoming brittle or cracking like most plastics. No other deli container can make that claim.
Ordinary polypropylene containers start to become unstable at less than 28 DEGREES ABOVE ZERO. The colder and longer it is frozen the more brittle and susceptible to cracking they become.
AMAZON does a very poor job at protecting the consumer from these fraudulent products on their site. We contact AMAZON immediately every time we discover another fraudulent seller of our products. But it typically takes dozens of communications, many of which are virtually ignored by eventually asking us to provide more of the very information already provided or by transferring to another department only to eventually be transferred back. Eventually though sometimes weeks later they are finally removed with the fakes being returned to the fraudulent seller at sellers expense and many times closing the sellers Amazon account. But while AMAZON takes their time hundreds of fake products are being sold to innocent unsuspecting customers.

EBay on the other hand typically takes care of fraudulent product issues usually in 24 – 48 hours.

5/03/15 A company called W-DEALS started to sell multiple types of counterfeit Reditainer products on Amazon. These are not authentic Reditainer products. If you received any so called Reditainer products from W-DEALS you should return them back to Amazon for a 100% refund and open what Amazon calls an A-Z claim against the seller W-DEALS. Do not forget to leave the appropriate feedback.
4/25/15 A company called QQOutlet started to sell counterfeit 8 ounce size Extreme Freeze Reditainers on Amazon.com. These are not authentic Reditainer products, are not made of the special freezeable plastic. These fakes will have a ” TD ” trademark and a Chinese patent # on the bottom of every counterfeit cup.
If you received any so called Reditainer products from QQOutlet you should return them back to Amazon for a 100% refund and open what Amazon calls an A-Z claim against the seller QQOutlet. Do not forget to leave the appropriate feedback.
11/10/14 Two different companies called Sotabletop and GFM Store started to sell counterfeit Reditainer products on Amazon. These are not authentic Reditainer products. They are of a different quality and the lids will not necessarily fit your other authentic Reditainer products. If you received any so called Reditainer products from Sotabletop or GFM Store you should return them back to Amazon for a 100% refund and open what Amazon calls an A-Z claim against the seller Sotabletop or GFM Store.
2/14/2014 A company on Amazon called Spin Central City seems to be reselling at very high prices numerous varieties of Reditainer products. The samples we received were the very same counterfeit products sold on Amazon by the following fraudulent sellers “All For You” and “We Need You” Please do not pay high prices to Spin Central City and depend on them to send you authentic Reditainer products. They do not know how to get the authentic products themselves.
1/30/14 Fraudulent 8 ounce, 16 ounce and 32 ounce Extreme Freeze Reditainers found on Amazon being sold by a supposedly new company named ” We need U “ These are not authentic Extreme Freeze Reditainers. They are either Pactiv Corp Newspring or TriPack brand deli containers (whatever cheaper brand they have on hand) made of ordinary non freezeable polypropylene. These fake ones may have the word “NEWSPRING”, or not at all, molded into the bottom of each and every container. If you receive one of these counterfeit items from ” We Need U “ return it for a full refund and report the fraud to Amazon. They are not made of the special freezeable plastic.

11/5/13 and currently selling – A so called new company on Amazon called KOBI WAREHOUSE created its own new listings on Amazon of various so called “Reditainer” and “Extreme Freeze” products. They stole our exact pictures and words to make the listings look authentic. We have no idea yet what they are actually selling, but they are certainly not authorized to sell “Reditainer” products. They also seem to be asking 4 times the normal price and claims that shipping will take an extra 7 -14 days.
10/26/13 (16 ounce size Reditainer Ordinary Deli Containers 36 pack with lids) and (32 ounce size Reditainer Ordinary Deli Containers 24 pack with lids) Removed once legal process was served
A company by the trade name of “ Jims Warehouse ” was found on Amazon selling some off brand of deli container and fraudulently calling it a Reditainer brand product. They were contacted several times and claimed to be continuously looking into it, but continued offering their counterfeits product on Amazon. If you received one of these counterfeit items from ” Jims Warehouse ” it is not an authentic Reditainer product, you should return it and report the fraud to Amazon.
9/24/13 (Various sizes of Reditainer & Extreme Freeze Deli Containers) Removed Voluntarily
A company using the trade name on Amazon as “Container Man” was found fraudulently selling various Reditainer & Reditainer Extreme Freeze products on Amazon. They were contacted and within 24 hours voluntarily removed these products from Amazon.
9/5/13 (32 ounce Extreme Freeze Reditainer on Amazon) Removed once legal process was served
A company called WOW Brilliant Deals sent in about 40 fake 32 ounce Extreme Freeze Reditainer packages. This was immediately reported to Amazon. If you receive one of these packages you should return it immediately to Amazon for a 100% refund and help us report the fraud to Amazon. These are not authentic Extreme Freeze Reditainers. They are Pactiv Corp Newspring brand deli containers made of ordinary non freezeable polypropylene.
9/5/13 16oz Extreme Freeze Reditainer on eBay Removed Voluntarily
A company called Cocacola2030 was discovered selling fraudulent 16 ounce Extreme Freeze Reditainers on eBay. The company was immediately asked to cease and desist and report filed with eBay. Seller voluntarily removed the fraudulent listing. If you received one of these products from cocacola2030 you should return for a refund as it is not an Extreme Freeze Reditainer.

9/5/13 Amazon removed the fraudulent products from their inventory.
A company called – WOW Brilliant Deals – has been selling on AMAZON -Pactiv Corp. – Newspring brand containers and passing them off as 16 ounce and 8 ounce Extreme Freeze Reditainers. These fake ones are clear in color (not the milky white color of the authentic ones) and will have the words “PACTIV” and “NEWSPRING” printed on the bottom of each and every fake container.
These containers are made of ordinary polypropylene plastic. Are not recommended for long term freezing. Ordinary polypropylene starts to become unstable at less than 28 DEGREES ABOVE ZERO. The colder and longer it is frozen the more brittle and susceptible to cracking they become.
Authentic Extreme Freeze Reditainers are made of a special plastic capable of withstanding temperature to 40 DEGREES BELOW ZERO without becoming brittle and cracking.
If you purchased one of these fake Extreme Freeze Reditainers on AMAZON we recommend you return it and get your money back and please help us report the fraud to AMAZON.
WOW Brilliant Deals was immediately contacted and is fully aware of the fraud they are commiting, but refused to cooperate and continued to defraud the public.
Approx. 08/20/13 (32 & 16 ounce Regular Reditainers) Removed
A company on Amazon called – WOW Brilliant Deals – is selling what we call a Regular non freezeable 32 ounce and 16 ounce Reditainer deli container. We just received a sample of what they are selling. We are not sure what brand it really is but they are super thin especially the lids. A real 32 ounce Reditainer weighs approximately 1.3 ounces each including the lid, which is what makes them so durable. This fake so called Reditainer weighs only 0.6 of an ounce including the lid, that’s less than half the weight and makes them more than 50% less durable. Would not trust these cheapies in a dishwasher or microwave. WOW Brilliant Deals sent in at least 100 packages of the 32 ounce size and sold all 100 as of 9/2/13 they continued selling the fake 16 ounce size.

A company on Amazon called – WOW Brilliant Deals – is selling what we call a 28 ounce Reditainer – Rectangular Food Storage Containers With Lids. We received one of these products to find it was also a Pactiv – Newspring brand product instead. Although it appears similar the lids are not compatible with the authentic Reditainer product.
8/28/13 (16 ounce Extreme Freeze Reditainer) Removed Voluntarily
A company called PR DIRECT was discovered offering fake 16 ounce Extreme Freeze Reditainers on Amazon. The company was contacted and voluntarily removed the fake products from Amazon. Thank you PR Direct for doing the right thing. If you ordered one of these fake containers you should return to AMAZON for refund. Update – We just received a sample of the Fake Extreme Freeze Reditainers from PR Direct and upon inspection found them again to be Pactiv Corporation Newspring Brand made of ordinary non freezeable polypropylene. Buyer beware, especially on AMAZON.
